How we started
We'd both seen the same thing happen too many times.
A business pays for a website, it goes live, and then nothing - no enquiries, no way to tell whether anyone found it, and no way to change anything without paying someone again.
Usually the site wasn't badly designed. It just wasn't built for the business that owned it. Nobody asked how the owner would update it, whether their customers were on desktop or mobile, or how anyone would know if it was working.
So that's what we ask first. We're Nivetha and Kalaiyarasan, and we work mostly with businesses in Tamil Nadu - traders, event companies, local services. People who need to be found and need the phone to ring.
Where we work
We're based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, and work remotely with clients elsewhere in India and overseas. Most of it happens over email and WhatsApp - we overlap comfortably with European mornings and Gulf working hours, and for clients in the Americas we schedule calls in your afternoon.
How we work
A design partner, not another agency
We ask about your signboard.
And your packaging, and your WhatsApp. A website isn't the only place your business appears, and the design should hold up everywhere it shows up.
We recommend the boring option when it's right.
WordPress isn't fashionable, but if you're uploading event photos every weekend it's the correct choice. We tell you what suits your situation, not what we'd enjoy building.

About the name
Nivocra is a portmanteau we built from two Latin words: niveus, snow-white, for clarity - and creare, to make. Snow-clear making. It's a coinage, not a dictionary word, and we'd rather say so than pretend otherwise.
